The Black Stars of Ghana are in Pot 1 ahead of the draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
After the preliminary round of the qualifiers early this year, all is set for the big business as part of the campaign to earn a ticket to Morocco for the next continental showdown.
Today, CAF has confirmed that the 2025 AFCON qualifiers draw will come off as planned in South Africa on Thursday, July 4.
Ahead of the draw, CAF has shared a post on social media indicating what Pot every country has been placed into.
Four-time champions Ghana is in Pot 1.
In that Pot, there are also defending champions Ivory Coast, Senegal, Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria.
The other countries in that pot are Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, South Africa, and DR Congo.
