Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim, whose contract expires today, June 30, has drawn interest from Kosovan top-tier side FC Drita, according to sources.

The 24-year-old, nearing the end of his contract, has declined extension offers from Hearts of Oak, opting instead to explore other opportunities.

Salifu enjoyed a standout season, contributing to twelve goals through ten assists and two goals in thirty-two league appearances.

His consistent performances have attracted attention from clubs domestically and internationally, including Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC.

FC Drita is now actively pursuing Salifu to bolster their squad for the upcoming season, likely securing him on a free transfer.

The club, a perennial top-four finisher in the Kosovo Superleague, aims to strengthen their roster for a title push in the 2024/25 campaign.

Currently, Salifu is sidelined from training with Hearts of Oak, as the club prepares for a crucial Democracy Cup clash against perennial rivals Asante Kotoko next week.
